Connection problems?

Anyone else getting connection problems for 5 seconds every 2 minutes? It has been like this since patch 1.12 and its really starting to **** me off, really bad when you are flying .

same issue for me, tried using port forwarding on my router, did not work. I am looking for answers too.:wall:

I just went to a web site, www.portforwarding.com and adjusted the portforwarding settings, I made some mistakes the first time. I will let you know how it works

The port forwarding seems have helped some. I have not been dropped from the server since adjusting the settings but I have still had the occasionial "there is a problem with your connection" message with the game frozen. I have to believe it has something to do with the 1.2 patch.:blabla:

Lately (last 2 weeks) I have been getting some weird connection problems myself. When I select a server I will click the "Join" button, the server browser freezes for about 15 seconds and it will immediately say "Your connection to the server was lost". As soon as I click the same server, it will then let me in. Anyone have any ideas what this could be?
I also have several servers in my favorites that are listed in red as "Undefined". I try to get rid of them by highlighting them and clicking "Remove", they disappear, but the next time I start the game, there they are. How do you permanently clear the favorites? There has to be a folder, anyone got the path?

I just updated to 1.21 and my connection problems seem to be gone. I was having similar problems with loosing the connection to the serever but not since I added portforwarding to my router and updated to 1.21.

I don't have a clue about your favorite server settings, I wounder if that is a cookie held by game spy.:hmm:

Ive lived with this forever on my wirelesss, luckily though im a sniper so a connection problem and 5 second freeze shouldnt be anything if im doing my concealing job propelry

You have wireless aswell? Hmm...I'm thinking that might be the issue, it's not that big a deal for a sniper ok, but it sucks for a planetard like me :p.
