USMC and Airforce
is it just me, or are the USMC and Air Force 2 seperate factions...cause in bf2 they're USMC, but the guys in the plane are AirForce, as depicted in the pic below...or am i just stupid?

Not to mention that they use F-18s which are the Navy's and take off in F-22s from aircraft carriers. It's just for fun really. It shouldn't be USMC. It should just be Americans.Comment

Yea, I always figured an F-18 should take off from the carrier, not the F-35Bs. Also, does anyone know if USAF shows up on the Helo pilots, or does it stay USMC?Comment

It seems more practical that the F-18s should take off from the carrier, and the F-35B should be land-based to emphasize their multifaceted capabilities of lifting off in even the most inhospitable terrains.Comment

This game is already so militarily inaccurate it doesn't matter anymore. Chinese with AK47s, random a$$ unlocks, where the hell did MEC get AK101s?! Insurgents without AK47s....lazyness and inaccurate. Same thing in BF1942.Comment

Pretty accurate? Last time I checked people didn't jump off buildings that are no higher than two stories with full combat gear and just happened to 'have' a spare parachute that opens fully in less than a second.Originally posted by Ghilleman

F/A-18s are flown by both the Navy and Marines. F-35 will have a carrier based version, which is what is shown in the game, the VTOL type. The others will be STOL.Comment

It's just a game. There is no such thing as MEC. In reality the AK101 is a russian weapon. The chinese army have their own version of AK47, and most of the middle east countries are using the original soviet made AK47.
