BF2 patches won't install?

Pretty self explanitory... Niether of the patches will. I've downloaded from numerous of sites and all that happens is i double-click the patch and it gives me the hour-glass and nothing. It starts cause i see the process in system task manager. Can anyone help me?

System Specs:
Celeron 2ghz
Geforce FX 5200 128mb
Ram 768mb

I know low system specs but the game runs fine, I played the demo when it first came out its fine too. Settings on medium and i don't get low fps below 30 and no chops.

Other games work fine and patch fine too.

How much free space do you have on your hard drive?

Also the folowing was a issue with the first patch (not sure about currently):

52.9 gig HD
And i have 27.7GB of space left so i'm sure i'm good in that area.

And i checked the registery and thats fine I guess i'll try downloading the new full one.

But anyother ideas?

Hmm did you leave it for a while when the hour glass came up?
If I remember correctly, when I finished downloading patch 1.2 and went to install it, it took AGES to install, approximately 30 minutes or so with the first 5 minutes just a hour glass.

Try leaving it for longer to do its thing and see if that helps
