Enemy Commander

For some reason it appears the name tag bug has gotten even worse. I was just playing on a server where I was in a squad capping flags and working together, when all of a sudden I can hear the enemy commander it appears, which is odd because one he is on their team and two I am not the squad leader so I should not be able to hear him in the first place. I checked and he was on their team, but I was not able to confirm if he was the commander, but it appears that way. Also I could not understand him, it was like it was just barely coming through.

You're close, but not quite. What's actually happening is someone in your squad is talking, but your client thinks they're on the other team. Thus, when you look at the roster, you see them on the other team, and you don't see them as part of your squad. However, when they use VoIP, it shows their name in red, as that's what your client thinks it should be.

Good answer fork... although he did say he varified that the guy was on the other team.

Also, I can see that there's no star next to the speak icon. Shouldn't their be one if they guy was on the command channel?
