I did download the new patch and i can here the enemy fir thare wepons. why did people say that thay can't here others fire thare gun? is it a hoax or is it the persons settings or specs? EDIT: what happend to spec ops picksup c4?

yea its random...sometimes for me...the guy will be shooting and i dont even hear the gun shots and i also dont see the muzzleflash

The picking up of C4 was pulled from this patch because Dice didn't feel that their system was ready to see the light of day.

Prolly a tagging issue came up that required some deeper work.

Half the time, an enemy will just stand still/crouch/go prone and kill you, with no gun firing sound or mizzle flash animation. You just see your health decrease and then die.

But on their screen it looks like they are normally shooting.

it seems to happen to me with the small-calibre weapons more than anything.
i hardly ever hear the P90, MP5, etc being fired. same goes for the pistols (and im not a noob, i know the sniper and spec-ops pistols are silenced. happens often with the L85A1 too for some reason.

i can still hear the PKM, but not like it matters. if you can hear that thing youre dead.
