    Remember MOHAA:Spearhead? Gewitter is raining map. EA had done that before but the feedbacks were too good. It simply slows the performance.

    We can turn it off. the weather effects look cool at first then most ppl just turned it off so we can spot things easier.

      I agree that a lot of things like this should have been added to the game. The engine is too inefficient as it is though. Expect something like it in next generation games.

        i think rain would be pretty cool.

        i always thought it would be cool to have dust kicked up from helos that come low to the ground....like when a black hawk comes in low to drop off troops for a cap...dust being kicked up would be a cool effect and provide cover.

          That would be pretty cool to see grey clouds above your head and then it starts raining and then buggys would spin out of control into trees, as helicopters crashed from low visabitliy and planes got lost in the atmosphere as soilders shoot at infantry unknowly weather it is friend or foe.

            Dust does blow when helicopters are low to the ground.. and same with the water too..

                I think it's dumb you can completely turn off shadows. I know it would be an advantage to do so but I refuse to do it.
