Dual Monitor Help

hey guys, my friend has an Nvidia GeForce 6600. teh other day i looked at the card it and has 2 monitor ports. one VGA and one LCD(i think thats waht it is called). so we took his littel bors monitor and hoocked it up. but in teh setting there is nothing that lets us connect both. so what im askign is: can his Nvidia GeForce 6600 graphics card has dual monitors?

please help!

go into the display control panel, should be fairly easy to figure out.

Yep in the Nvidia setting's tray you should be able to select dual monitor.

However I am at work with an ATI card and not sure if it works the same,

1:- Right click on Desktop
2:- Select properties
3:- Select Settings
4:- Left click on No. 2 monitor and tick "Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor"
5:- Apply
