I think you just made it up but if you are telling the truht than tell us your real in game name so we can look up your stats... it must hvae been you r best scor or wasnt it? :P

First off, a commander score is an AVERAGE!!!!! You are able to get .1 scores because it is an average. 31.1 is attainable. And second, he probably just put 20 up as a guesstimation.

This is what I was thinking.

Aside from that, it's possible that the server was running python scripts that futz with scores. You can do that if you know how to write a script. This is why anything to do with python is disallowed on ranked servers... but ya never know. Someone could have slipped something in.

Just one possibility.

Last night I was playing commander on Wake Island, and instead of multiplying my score by 2, I think it multiplied by 20 because I ended the round with 622. Man, I love this new patch.

Anyone else experience this bug?

ehhh, look at it as a making up for some of the rounds youve busted your @$$ in and then the points/badges you earned didnt register.

some servers are notorious for this. the team ATI servers and FMG servers i play on go down constantly. i got the expert explosives badge on an FMG server the other day with C4 and AT mines - not through gay claymore spamming - and it didnt register. i dont think im going to bother trying for it again. i just had a really good run and figured hey, i might as well try to get it. but i dont want it enough to deliberately go for it till i get it.

You guys are forgetting that only commander points are doubled. If he got some team points of something before going commander, they weren't doubled.

Just becarefull, not too long ago this same thing happened to another guy. While it was alot worse, he got like 28,000 command points in a round or something due to a mess up on EA's side. He posted on BF2S about it and then no more than 1-2 weeks later his account was reset and EA didn't do a thing about it.

I think the average score for the round was 31.1. decimals are probably dropped. So I should have gotten 62, but I didn't. I am not sure where to post this. I didn't know if anyone else experienced this.

I am posting it here so it can go on record that this was a server error. I guess another bad part is that it was our server. (not that I have control of those values).

IMHO it's a bug. I just don't see how it could be possible to get such a high score unless the round lasted for hours and hours.....

there is a bug with the commander score. i've seen a few of these type of posts. in fact, somebody ended up with a br score of over 18,000 because of this bug. he reported it to ea, and they said there was nothing they could do about it. looking at his stats, it was obvious that he wasn't statpadding.
