I'm at 20,000

I just hit 20,000 but I did not get promoted. Any idea why? I don't have basic knife and basic pistol. Is that why? I was really looking forward to another unlock.

You get promoted to Master Sgt if you don't have Basic Pistol and Knife, check your BFHQ and make sure it has updated and you're up to 20,000 , it took me 3 tries to make it finally say I was a Sgt.

Even if you didn't get all your basic badges you'd at least have Master Sgt. Probably didn't get promoted because stats take awhile to update.

you won't be a first sergeant but you will be master sergeant (both get an unlock)


I myself am aiming to get to AT LEAST Lieutenant Colonel before the year's over

It takes a while, i was promoted to captain twice in the same day, and the next day i was still 1st LT, in some servers

haha ya, I remember back in the day when ranks were crazy, I got promoted to corporal (10,000 points back then) 3 times before really being promoted :p

Yeah the same thing happened to me. I hit 20k then it wasn't until I hit 20,895 that I got my promotion. 2 unlocks, the DAO12 and P90..wish the P90 was alot better.

Now I'm stuck with the unmoving gauge, just like last time pre-patch.

20,000 is a bad one, you now have to wait all the way to 50,000 to go up a rank again.

I am at 36,000 and still a way to go.

if you have fun it will go by right away

when i hit Sgt before 1.12 i was like who cares about next rank, but after a while of playing im like, oh im close to next rank

47800, so close to leaving the first srgt club at long last. I deffinately feel the urge to deploy some really bad gameplay to get them few remaining points.... ammo for all and theres no such thing as DNR (but you can donate your body to rank advancement) :p
I could just quit me job i suppose....hmmm

Dont think the gap would be so annoying if it wasnt so far down the ranking system, to easy to loose interest when faced with such a mountain, not in the playing for points way but i think if you get bored in your promotion rut you may be more likely to stray into the realms of stat padding and the like.

While in batlle on round 1, u get a promoted then u have to stay until all round is finish and ready for next game and they will hold forever...it happen to me when i got new rank i join out and check out on BFHQ but not yet new rank.
