In what way to install ure drivers

Heej,

I wanted to install all the new drivers that are available now, but i don't know in what order to do so.

ore what i have to install.

i have a 6600 GT
and a audigy 2 ZS.

i have already downloaded the latest Nividia driver from this side http://www.tweaksrus.com/index.php?o...537&Itemid=41/

and the latest audigy drivers from this side

what else do i need upgrade?
and in what order

o and one more thing, when i look at this side
http://www.nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.asp

there is a a option that's called platform.
what does those drivers do, and do i need to reinstall those also?

Uninstall the current drivers and then install the new (one at a time).

Those are motherboard drivers. But wouldn't bother downloading them from Nvidia unless you have a Nvidia based motherboard.

The proper order:

First install the latest motherboard chipset drivers and reboot.
Uninstall your current sound drivers, reboot and cancel out of
Turn off the PC and install the Sound Card. Upon restarting, install the SoundBlaster drivers and software you want for it.
Reboot.
Upon restart, uninstall your video drivers using Add/Remove. Reboot and cancell out of New Hardware Found boxes.
Now install the drivers you downloaded from nVidia.
When done, defragment the HDD.
