Very strange lag after 1hours or so of playing

The new patch has introduced a new issue for me, when I play for more than an hour I get massive lag once in a while, totally random. The lag is not normal as its almost as if my computer has crashed but then it start working again. The sound will loop and the screen freezes, it goes on for anywhere between 5 and 30 seconds. What do you think it could be? Also I've started to get lag at the start of rounds after I've played in a couple, the sort of lag I used to get when I had 512 or 1gb of ram. My system should be fine for playing BF2:

AMD 64 3500+ Winchester
ECS KN1 SLI Extreme
Leadtek 7800GT
2GB ddr400 (4x512)
Playin all high @ 1280x1024 75hz

Anyone got any ideas? My GPU temp is normal, it never seems to get above 45 and CPU isn't overclocked. Please help! :cry: :cry:

It's not proven but I personally suspect that some configurations or some driver combinations cause a memory leak in version 1.2. You are not the only one who has experienced this.
