But I got the rest of them in the same round after realising how easy it was to get the support combat badge. You only need to kill about 5 or so people per basic badge, so yeah- vehicles and being gunner for the assault helo is the key.

Also, I'm nearing the Master Sargeant rank (though I still have gunnery sargeant to go through first), so that was motivation enough for me to try and go for as many of the badges as possible in one fell swoop. It was really satisfying to get the veteran badge for spec-ops though, because SpecOps is the kit I usually play with, and it's got me favourite gun, the G36C.

As with the Anti-Tank... well, yeah- just remember, you don't actually have to destroy vehicles to get the AT Combat badge, you could just use your missiles on infantry... about 5 times, and you gets the badge.

You wouldn't believe how easy it was for me to get the basic pistol combat badge though, it was funny: I think it was because there was an enemy hummer that was flaming already... and when I had my pistol out (for the badge of course)- I missed the enemies around it, and hit the hummer instead, at which it blew up, and killed one of the occupants, and 2 others around him. Collected 3 more kills with the pistol and that was it.

All I have left is the knife combat badge... mmm... 7 kills... hm.
Still impressive that you got like, 5 combat badges in a round and then some ribbons as well. :) AFAIK, the only combat badges that need 5 kills IAR is SpecOps and Assault, the rest need 10. So you were underestimating yourself, you got like 50 kills that round, something I've never managed to do.

By the way- you only need 21 kills in a round as special ops to get your veteran spec ops badge. Just so you know
Thanks, I got my Good Conduct ribbon when going for my expert knife (something I never could do, on account of I get 1 TK per round ) but with a knife it's hard to TK your team mate, I was actually rather ****ed off when I got it because I had had to shoot some people who were threatening me and getting the Good Conduct ribbon made me completely lose track of my knife kills... I ended up going 26-2 with my knife kill that got me my expert being at 9-1 tickets left. :)

Also I didn't know about the SpecOps ribbon, thanks for telling me... Got something to do today, and yes I like the G36C alot, but I play Medic more for the self healing. :)

Easiest way to get that is as MEC on Karkand. Right at the beginning of the map, go towards USMC eastern base and wait by that tree. As USMC blindly comes down the hill looking at the entrance or down the road, just knife em! You can actually get 20+ kills this way, so I hear. I've only got 8 in 1 game, because game ended in 10 minutes.

AND also you're a rank below me :p , thus you've achieved more within your rank than I have. But you get to play at home right? I have to play at a net cafe in the City because our computer at home sucks, and I can get a few good local team-mates to play with me- so I don't need VoIP that much. However, I do notice that you tend to stick to the ground- and haven't diversified any further than that- thus you have fewer ribbons. Trust me, vehicles and aircraft tend to get people ribbons faster than anything... provided you're adept at vehicle/aircraft combat and maneouvering.

I think I got my good conduct ribbon as gunner in a helo, surprisingly enough- it was definately on sharqi, and I was on fire that night, just one of those days when you have that great teamwork chemistry with everyone: they call, we respond- they get out of the way while we clear out the scum, and then they do their thing, when the helo wasn't busy- well- we spent that time between raping the TV station, and supporting the ground involuntarily.

My veteran SpecOps badge caught me off by surprise... a pleasant surprise at that, never try too hard when you play eh? just cruise, enjoy, and relax. Even if you lag like crazy everytime you and an enemy face off :p

Just realised that I only need 25 minutes in a round as commander to get me a Veteran Command badge Now... in order to do that, I'm gonna have to take a boat under a bridge somewhere and command from there - since I have my basic transport badge, I can also add hours or minutes to the next veteran transport badge while going for Vet.Command

              Ya can.

You could trade them for a life.

Thanks for the heads up man... I'll definately keep that in mind- but 7 knife kills shouldn't be too hard, on any ol map... as long as it's not Oman or Kubra Dam.

I've gotten used to switching my weapon over if the situation calls for a knife or a pistol. If only there's a way to make it so that you'd immediately switch to pistol when you deplete your primary. What I tend to do when I run into a snipers nest (and they don't see me yet)- I pull out the knife, and kill one of them, then immediately switch to pistol (in case they turn around upon hearing my knife stuck into their buddy's head)- and if the other sniper/snipers still haven't woken up to my presence, I switch back to knife and repeat.
