congrats. Just imagine if you're one of those guys in top10 in the leaderboard. They have 1000's of gold medals.
Would be nice if you could trade in your gold medals for something. hahaha -

Well... I managed to get ALL my basic combat badges in one round... (Veteran Spec Ops the round before I believe) does that count for anything? oh yeah, including the meritorious unit ribbon, and distinguished service, plus pistol combat badge in the 1 round

Holy **** Six, thats impressive! I spanned over 2 weeks getting all my basic combat ribbons, the one that held me up was anti-tank, in the end I just whored armor on Karkand.

But I got the rest of them in the same round after realising how easy it was to get the support combat badge. You only need to kill about 5 or so people per basic badge, so yeah- vehicles and being gunner for the assault helo is the key.
Also, I'm nearing the Master Sargeant rank (though I still have gunnery sargeant to go through first), so that was motivation enough for me to try and go for as many of the badges as possible in one fell swoop. It was really satisfying to get the veteran badge for spec-ops though, because SpecOps is the kit I usually play with, and it's got me favourite gun, the G36C.
As with the Anti-Tank... well, yeah- just remember, you don't actually have to destroy vehicles to get the AT Combat badge, you could just use your missiles on infantry... about 5 times, and you gets the badge.
You wouldn't believe how easy it was for me to get the basic pistol combat badge though, it was funny: I think it was because there was an enemy hummer that was flaming already... and when I had my pistol out (for the badge of course)- I missed the enemies around it, and hit the hummer instead, at which it blew up, and killed one of the occupants, and 2 others around him. Collected 3 more kills with the pistol and that was it.
All I have left is the knife combat badge... mmm... 7 kills... hm.Comment

By the way- you only need 21 kills in a round as special ops to get your veteran spec ops badge. Just so you know

Hell, yeah- I wish you can trade those awards for modifications to your weapons, or buying better side-arms (i.e: Desert Eagle, or Magnum). As far as modifications go... well, adding compensators, silencers, red-dot scopes and laser sights to your primary and side-arm.Originally posted by SirCyRo-iNTComment

Way to go it wa awsome at first to get my first medals last couple weeks got my expert anti tank and expert assult trying to get my hours up on my other kits to get expert about 50hrs on each man just went to sgt major 20 000-50 000
that took awile to get lol got my combat infantry medal and marksman and golden simitar this week too soo it will be awile till i get more medals now i'm just having fun with the other kits if I'm bored i go sniping love the new unlock

The hardest badge for me, was the "Expert Assault Badge" (Had 39kills plenty of times).. .It took me a couple of weeks, before I fianally managed to get it... The basic knife badge were pretty hard to get, as well... Took me a couple of days (And alot of cursing!!!), before I changed tactics... (I ended up with 6 knife kills, round after round, after round)
So I went to a Karkand 24/7 server, pulled my knife, and jumped completely RAMBO into the battle..
The vet. And Exp. Knife badges came pretty easy after... I found a couple of under-populated 64-players Karkand Servers.. (ca. 15-20 players)... With alot of tickets... So I had about an hour+ hour and a half, just hunting people with the knife...
So now the turn has comed for my Vet. Explosive Ordninance badge... (23. Kills in a round)... Wish me luck
