Installation Issue

I just got my new system:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+
250GB HD, 1GB DDR 400 Ram
ATI Radeon X800 XL 256MB PCI-E
Windows XP Media Center 2005

I can't install BF2, it stops at /Objects_Client and tells me to restart the installation from the beginning. I've deleted all the BF2 files and all the registries but I still get the same thing. What should I do?

C: Format? Are you referring to the way it is currently formatted or that I should Reformat the disc?
