Wake is still not umbalanced, just get a good squad, fly high to the airfield.......blah, blah, blah,......as discussed in earlier posts, just the same....just fly higher!!!!!!!!!!

When 99% of the time the same side wins, I call it unbalanced. And yes Wake is one of them.

Go on a server running Wake and watch 20 rounds in a row, take note of the final 20 scores,.... you have your answer: very unbalanced. Teh island is always winning.

So let me get this straight...

Just because the teams are heavily UN-balanced, that means the map is balanced?

Apparently you're confused about the meaning of the word balanced.

Wake is the most unbalanced map in the game. If both teams are equal in skill, once the J-10's go down (and they will eventually), the game is over for the chinese because their airfield is so incredibly vulnerable.

And don't give me any crap about what the Chinese team can do to win.... I KNOW they CAN win. But if the US has good players in the air, it's pretty much over.

Every time I play wake as USMC... I spend the beginning of the game trying to shoot down the J-10's, once they go down, I keep them down for the entire game, or until the airfield gets captured. Without J-10's, China gets completely @ss raped by the two F-35's and the Cobra.

I have a lot of hours on wake island, and I have a lot more wins on the USMC side than on the Chinese side. That's because I've played USMC more. If I played more as a Chinese, it would've been the other way around. It's not about the map, it's about the players.

Another map that seems terribly unbalanced is sharqi paninsula, almost every game I have played MEC wins

wake and maps like it are fun for flyboys. as infantry, i find them incredibly boring. ill just switch maps.

but yes i do notice that since 1.2 games are a lot closer now - more end at 3-0 or 12-0 than 195-0.
on air maps its probably the new AA balancing things out.
in urban maps, its probably because half of every team is using the PKM, and most of the others are claymore or grenade spamming.

Re: People who say that maps are unblanced, like wake!

wake IS unbalanced! for both sides! thats why its balanced, let me explain. it starts out with a huge usmc disadvantage, as soon as the usmc takes the airfield, the huge disadvantage goes to pla.

for the usmc its all about divide and conqure, dont pack your boats or black hawks, but take the bh and both boats all at once. dont all go to the same shore, and dont get greedy in the transport, just get to land and get out. who ever is on land and alive, make a squad, at least untill a flag on both sides is capped, from thier on out get the airfield and push um to one side, then off the island.

for pla best thing is to keep them in the water, never let them get the airbase, its bette to let them have the rest of the map if need be, the airbase is viatal.

there is alot more strat to the map, but thats the basics.

Man, you need to hook me up with some of your team-mates ... because when I play as USMC, I usually end up getting the 'slower' players on my team... ;P

Same as Karkand 64-player ... the only way that MEC wins is if the USMC team has a crappy commander or the other team is just stupid. (Please note that this VERY rarely happens).

That is what you are saying.
but the problem with you guys are that you have no brains how to play it like umsc. also teamplay.

                      Everbody spwans at the front:laugh:
                      That's is not smart.

Me and my clan are always defending the left side of Sharqi where the chopper come from also the sneaky guys who always trying to get a vodnik there

                      if you close that of.

you can be sure that it's not your fault if you are losing.

look at my stats and you see my win and losses are olmost the same

                      and see umsc.
so it's not unblaneced or whatever.
                      your team is.

If people say maps are unblanced they have never played BF1942 and ohoma beach

                          No dam stats systeem

only teamwork that count on the allied side .
that's why I loved much of ohoma beach to get up as a group.

and getting covering fire from the boat ^^

first clear the area with nades, then take the defguns out, and the flag is yours :)

but most of the people didn't understand:|:
the word teamwork as like in BF2 becoma a huge problem.

But it's not a big different if you play with 4 or 3 people you know!

I'm in the 'Blame the players, not the map' category. I find the PLA winning a lot in my Wake games. But that's simple because I have the bad luck of playing with a whole bunch of people who just don't leave the Carrier.

                              Wrong !!

I have played rounds. where no umsc soldier don't get even close by the first flag because we had a freaking group of AT's with 1 support guy killing the freaking armor
