I tried getting Veteran first-aid thinking it would be easy. I have 15 hours, so I just need 10 healing points right? So I played as medic, throwing down heals and reviving people. At the end of the game, I had about 28 points, all medic points except for one flag capture, yet I didn't get the badge. So do revive points not count as "healing" points? Because the majority of my points were from reviving people.

Re: Veteran first-aid?
Revives and healing points are not the same at all; you get a revive when you shock paddle someone up and you get a healing point when you toss a bag at their feet before they are dead (ie restore a lot of their hp). On a side note there is a timer on how long after you threw the first bag that you can get a healing point off the same person, making it harder than most support points to get. You'll know when you get a healing point -- it'll say 'You got a healing point'.Comment

Re: Veteran first-aid?
easy way to get badge is to keep putting down med kits at your own flags ( not where the enemy hides to get your flag ) and you should soon get that badge or keep driving round in a car to people how need health, you only need to heal 10 people so it sould not take that long.Comment

Re: Veteran first-aid?
I thought vet was really hard when I got it too, then I realized its nothing compared to expert.
try playing MEC on a kark 64 server. spawn medic at the hotel flag and stay near the fenced in area where all the fighting is in the begginning of the round. you'll easily hit 10 heals."Crunch's First Officer"

Re: Veteran first-aid?
Yeah, your healing points are the only thing that count towards the 10 you need for the badge. The best way to get it is either in a squad of 5 other guys on karkand and just throwing packs at their feet during a battle, or getting in a server with 16 our of 64 and following one or two guys around. It took me about a week to get that one.Comment

Re: Veteran first-aid?
I just got mine recently the second try, I joined a Mastuur City 64 player map, and started throwing and finding as many people as I could. As previously mentioned throwing the packs near your own flags is usually one of the best ways to get heals.Comment
