Help your Pilots!!!

Im tried as a regular pilot, now that AA is soo strong it takes u out within secs of gettin a lock. What I am asking is that if u c a pilot in distress help him out!!
I say this countless times to my team that to claim air superiority u need teamwork. Basically u should no the IGLA spots on the map check them out every soo often if theres an enemy mannin it and take him out, makes a big difference to us pilots survival.
The thing that annoys me most is when there r 50 ppl on the carrier on wake island but no1 is mannin the USS essex, while im flyin AA support would b greatly appreciated, same if u r inland and c a dogfight; if u r close to an IGLA, GET ON IT!
Any pilots feel the same way?

I frequently type a message saying "pilots: if your being followed circle the carrier/airfield" but not very many actually listen! :|:

What I'd like to see is more people spotting enemy aircraft. Since 1.2, it is VERY important to get on the enemies 6 before he gets on yours, and this helps loads!

aa not too bad for jet, you can still survive 2 hits and escape. use terrain to evade/fly high out of range. stealing full health planes is becoming my way of keeping in the air, since repair takes too long and leaves you too vulnerable.

aa is now a much bigger challenge for chopper teams. use terrain to evade

Spotting helps too, i always say to my team that they have to spot more, so i can take the tanks out, but mostly i have to fly slow in bombing mode to spot them, and when a sweet enemy plane passes by, i'm toast :-(

i feel the same way and would like to add that teammates spotting enemy air assets is a big help.

stealing full health planes is becoming my way of keeping in the air

best way to remain in the air when damaged is to land for 5 seconds. it just takes a litle bit of skill.

Yea spotting is a real help but if ur on the carrier and u c no1 in the essex while ur ally in the plane is gettin bumraped it wouldnt hurt to help him out :)

Negative. If you see two pilots having a dogfight and there's an AA next to you leave it alone. It will more then likely hit the friendly jet.

Yeah you should spot people more often, really helps at times.

Maybe so but lets say u have a clear shot of the plane and ur AA lock on him scares him off.

i agree, i have lost count of how many times i have tryed to help out freindly planes only to end up hitting them with the AA.

Spotting aircraft in the 1.2 patch is next to useless. When i'm infantry I often call out helicopter and plane sightings whenever I encounter them (even going to the extent of centering my crosshair on them) and only 1 time out of 10 will result in a minimap icon, so I don't even bother nowadays
