Re: Problems With X-fi Settings !!
This has happened to nearly everybody who has an X-Fi ...
Here is what you do:
- download and install these drivers: http://ccftp.creative.com/manualdn/D..._2_07_0004.exe
- delete the contents of your My Documents\Battlefield 2 folder (keep controls.con if you don't want to have to set up your controls again)
- start BF2 and set up your graphics and audio options from scratch
That is what I had to do with my X-Fi Xtreme Music.

Originally posted by sackynutbut does the battlefield 2 folder contain things like screen shots and such? and if you delete it, does it come back next time you make new settings?

Originally posted by JofabaAlso, make sure to choose Creative and either High or Ultra high in the audio section of BF2 settings, and make sure the card is in game mode for that to work. This will give you the best sound for your card.
