Re: L96/a1
That is the major selling point for SF2, which is kinda lame.... I only want it for the unlocked guns.... but refuse to pay for it.

Re: L96/a1
Actually, alot of people say the L96 is a very good gun. more accurate than the m24, little quieter, and a better sight to boot.

everytime I kill a sniper with one I pick it up just to be shot by the same guy 15 seconds later!

Re: L96/a1
No, it is not more accurate, it has the SAME accuracy, SAME damage, and doesn't penetrate armored glass or body armor. It's an M24 clone, no more or less. The only real features making it any better are that it's harder to hear and the crosshairs are thinner.

Re: L96/a1
You don't technically need SF to get the unlocks. But you do need a friend with SF and just login on your account on his computer and play a few rounds. Log backin and bam free unlocks.

Re: L96/a1
I prefer the M24 sound, the L96 has a very distinct sound which IMO is bad. If someone hears it they instantly know you're sniping whereas an M24 can be easily mistaken for another gun if they aren't paying much attention.

Re: L96/a1
But the thing is, you have to be pretty close to hear the sound, and if your that close, the sniper sucks. A good sniper gets into a position where he's hard to see, hard to hear, and easily claymored.Originally posted by BanthurI prefer the M24 sound, the L96 has a very distinct sound which IMO is bad.
