Two times in the passed week I have been in a squad where I could not spawn on my SL. After being frustrated at that I tried to leave the squad but nothing happened. Today it happened for the second time. I noticed that squad had 7 members instead of the usual 6. I wondered if that had something to do with it, or is this just another bug from 1.2.

Same here, it's a bug.
The worst is when you are stucked with a dumb Squad leader that is a RAMBO not giving any orders and not interested in team work.
Not bieng able to leave the squad forces you to play with RAMBO. Very frustrating!!!! -

If the squad leader is standing/laying beside a wall, rock or anything you won't be able to spawn until he moves some.
Not being able to leave squad or creat a new one is a bug with BF2CC. Don't ask me how, but it's what I've always heard.Comment

It has something to do with the way BF2CC does it's teamswitching. I suspect it's if the teams are unbalanced and you don't get moved, it screwes your squad up trying to make it go away... or something.Comment

Everytime i have ever seen this bug it has to do with auto swapping of teams at the start of a new game and you switch back to the team you were previously on before the switch.
For instance your on USMC and the game ends it switches you to MEC you switch back to USMC at the start of a new game and bam your in a squad you cant leave or spawn on the Squadleader.
The 7 player thing which was mentioned above doesnt have anything to do with it and that is caused from there being 5 in a squad someone joins and someone has been invited prior to the 6th joining, 6th joins 7th accepts invite and bam 7 in a squad.Comment

It happens on Moongamers Karkand 24/7 like half the time. Very annoying glitch, especially when you are in an awesome squad with 6 teamworkers.Comment

Several times before and after the new patch I couldn't respawn on my squad leader, even though he wasn't in a single seat vehicle. Most of the time he was actually on foot. Lately I play only lone wolfe. Honestly I'm kinda getting tired of the game. I need promo or at least an award to keep me playing. Again, I must say that the ponts difference between first sergeant and sergeant major is ridiculous compared to the gaps between the other ranks.Originally posted by motorboatJonesComment
