Grey screen after loading

Just bought the game and installed it but when I try ro run it I can see all the splash screens and EA Games banner but when it goes to the menu for the game the whole screen is grey (I can hear the game just can't see it).
Running Athlon 64 4000+, 1gig of ram and a 5200 vid card. This is not the only game I am having this problem with so Im thinking it has something to do with my system.
Can someone please help me!!

I have same problem with Asrock 939DUAL-Sata2 AMD64 3200+ 2gb ram and i just can't figure out what is wrong. I have re-installed all drivers and game whit patch, but nothing works.
