If you read the other long thread about this you would know our language filter is very mild and doesn't contain words like ass, moron, idiot, wtf, omfg.

The point to my post is I'm sick of people who don't pay for a ranked server trying to tell the people who do what they should do with it and how they should run it.

There is a simple solution, instead of constantly bitching about things like this find another server like the one above that doesn't have any language filter. I'm sure out of the 3000+ servers everyone can find a server that suits them. Do we really need anymore bitching threads about servers? Get over it and play elsewhere!

Right, im not bothered if i dont get kicked for non profanities like on some servers, very annoying when commanding . I dont understand it but its up to the server owners :).

I'm just saying that the filter is POINTLESS as MANY MANY SERVERS OUT THERE have words put in the filter such as "wtf, lmao, FU, BS, omg, darn, crap, heck" and many players are TIRED of being kicked for stupid crap like that..

LOL your calling me 12yrs old look at this pathetic post of yours. I know exactly what you are going on about. People like you still in this post above think they can tell people who pay for a ranked server what their language filter should or should not include.

If you don't like someone's language filter go and play on another server. Simple really isn't it? You have no right whatsoever to try and say what a server can or can't have in their language filter. Make sure you avoid ours because ours is for mature adults not people who whine about not being able to swear and cannot use the english language without expletives in every sentence.

Yet again you can't make an intelligent post without swearing, shows the maturity of the people who complain about swear filters. :laugh:

Just out of mild curiosity ... has any on-line petition ever achieved anything? There seem to be a lot of them but I've never heard of any instance in which the goal of the petition has been achieved.

If they have, I'd like to learn the details.

Lmao, if you saw in my other posts I didnt swear at all until my last one because you are such a moron. Ya sure its up to the admin to add what they want to the filter. Like a guy earlier stated, my bud got booted for saying cockpit. Why would mature gamers like yourself tolerate a system that boots for that? And dont tell me about not paying for servers. I played Medal of Honor Allied Assault for over a year and had my own clan. I PAID for my server and had admin rights.

I dont see how its so pathetic when the majority of players dont want the filter. Im sure you laugh it off when you get the boot for saying a legit word like cockpit or asset, because thats what mature gamers do right? Owning 200 points and 50 and 0 and you laugh it off! I need to take after you and be mature about things like that!

Ya i know, im trying to decide if i wanna start a petition at www.petitiononline.com and send it to EA or something lol.

Good luck with that, considering the autokicker is a part of BF2CC which is not in any way (other than its used on their games) assiciated with EA. Go bitch at the people that made it.

Half the problem with some words, like asset, cockpit and variants of words that contain what could be considered swear words, would be solved if admins actually used the literal word or added the literal word instead of leaving it as wild. this would stop you gettting warned /kicked for saying things like assets, cockpit ect ect. I have racist words in the banned words list, no need for them as far as Im concerned. You get warned 5 times if you dont get it by then, kicked. I think its fair enough.

The Mrs nailed it there and that was something I was going to bring up or suggest to other admins. Follow her advice when entering banned words in the filter!

This won't change at all, regardless of a 1000 signed petition. It's just regulations. Besides, It's easy to get around. I see no problem with it.
