Seriously when you get kicked for saying...."Can someone repair my assets" and you get kicked for a word that isn't even a swear word to begin with let alone only part of the word it is utter and total BS...

Yes ass is not a swear word and neither is assets......

I was told by an admin once to watch my languge when I said fook...I was like doode it is from Austin Powers but ok whatevea you say.... I love the fact that this is a game about killing people and war yet you cant swear now and then....BS major BS...I mean what kind of message is that sending to our children....If people weren't so uptight/wrapped up in themselves and dropped an F bomb from time to time this world would be much better off....

Im thinking about starting a petition to abolish the language filter. Anyone want to join? In a server doing really well and i said something like "heh thats fu nny" mispelled funny of course. All of the sudden pow kicked for saying the highly offensive word of FU. Goes to show just how retarded the language filter is and needs to be rid of.

Yes I know its their server and they get to do whatever they want, but thats just rediculous.

There server, they pay for it. Get over it. Play someplace else.

Holle I promise you one day you will get kicked for not even swearing. I promis you will get kicked for saying something like "Darn, crap,heck,poop". And when you get kicked and you had a 150 score and 50 kills and 0 deaths, you will be a litttttle ticked.

I descended from playing CS...yeah getting kicked, and for that matter banned WAS pretty much a weekly happening, but since I found a server or two that doesn't filter language, but still getting kicked for accidental c4'ing and claymores killing teammates still happens.

True...but with that attitude they will never get anyone to play on "there server" and that is the whole point of having a server...

Also even if it is "there" server and it is ranked they still have to follow EA's RoE EULA for Ranked Servers...Not that the latter has anything to do with language filter....

FInally when you get kicked for saying something like assets, scrap, grass, or any other word that incorporates a "swear" word in it you will see the stupidity that is a language filter...

The language filter is pointless, big deal someone swears on a server, go in counter strike headshot someone and you will get abuse 10 x worse, BF2 and CS are both rated the same, why should it need a language filter I think by 16+ you know every swear word, im 16 and I think this language filter is pointless, I have been kicked no doubt over 20 times for saying the banned word, sometimes its been a kick for saying the word ''noob' or ''idiot'' other times its been for saying f*ck if say I screwed up.

Servers are entitled to have this language filter but I just don't see the point in it, a small text line on the screen that no doubt everybody here has seen, heard and spoken isn't going to corrupt someones mind, or push them into seeing a shrink.

Ive gotten kicked for saying " guys spawn back at the south beach flag we are getting raped there" kicked for saying banned word "rape". i was like what type of hypocrite nonesense idiots would play a shooting , killing , war game and not allow you to say the word rape????

How about rather than wasting your time on this BS actually put your money where your big mouth is and pay the big bucks for your own Ranked server and have no language filter. I bet hell would freeze over before that happens!

Its a war game, the aim is to kill as many as you can. Yet you cant say ass. Which leads on to the crappiness of the language filter. You cant say Asset, you cant say scrap yard to name just two retarded points.

Id say fine if you want the language filter is your choice as strange as it is. But it is absolutely ridiculous when it impedes normal gameplay as it does. If you cant concede that its badly made and it ruins peoples enjoyment at times then you should not be allowed admin a server tbh, your blinkered.
