Little Question about Patches...

Hello Guys

Im new to BF2 but have been in the online gaming scene for about 3 years (CS)

Now ive bought BF2 and played it online, it all seems fine.

But my friends keep going on about a patch(s) that i should of downloaded?

1.2 or somthing like that.


Just wondering, do i need these patches?

Benerfits?

What order do i install them?

Also, were do i get them from? Im used to Steam and have patches from Valve that download and install automaticaly.

So any help would be great, thanks.

You only ever need the last patch, at the moment it's patch 1.2

There are 3190 ranked servers that collect stats (for ranks/badges/unlocks) and almost all of these will require you to have the 1.2 patch in order to play on them.

At the moment without the patch you'll find servers to play on but very few and in the future even less.

You can use the EA Downloader to get the patch or else via filefront.com
