I have some experience with 3D modelling/texturing as does my brother. We've dabbled with inserting our handiwork into several different game engines, but haven't really tried anything too serious.
After watching the entirety of the Firefly series and the Serentiy movie, it occured to me that the Civil War mentioned in the show/movie would make a good setting for a hard sci fi take on warfare. I'm tired of the fantasy tinged view of sci-fi these days (i.e. , energy swords, laser blasts you can see and hear, sound in space, etc) so I want to take this in a much more gritty and realistic direction.
I've more figured out what it is I want to set out to do (more or less). I'm at the point where I'm ready to start creating concept art so that my brother and I can start modelling.
Am I biting off more than I can chew? How many people should I need to get some serious work done?
