yup. I get off on TKing a guy on my team that thinks he's all that, calling everyone a noob. Somehow, it just feels good. If he's obnoxious, I'll become obnoxious. :ar15:

This is the SERVER ADMINS! they are the ones putting these filters into their server admin programs, they are the ones who think that "noob" should be banned, not EA/DICE/whoever else.

If you want to whine about it so badly then go and post on THEIR forum about it.

yeah... well, I got kicked from a server because I said "F***KING MORON!!!" too many times :P . I was getting very frustrated at the fact that every co-pilot I had was a complete noob, I could sit there ALL day lining him up to TV missile that one tank... and WHAT DOES HE DO? start shooting it with the gun instead. With VoIP not working- I fly away, land, and type in: "GET THE F*** OUT OF THE CHOPPER YOU F***ING MORON AND GO LEARN HOW TO USE THE TV MISSILE!"

Still not registering again in his head- I continued to abuse him in a similar manner... perhaps another 15 times. I think the admin was very very tolerant of me. :P

Noob used to mean newbie, now it seems to have replaced Idiot. I support this decision by the server admins, I'm getting sick of people calling eachother noobs, and why can't you swear ? Have you played any online games ? In bf2's case, it a filter that admins can turn on or off. Don't like it ? Don't play.

Well lets just say for a minute you are married and have kids . You rent a server for your free time and you set rules for what to say and what not to say for the sake of virgin ears that might hear something unwanted .




Just to flip it on you . I dont want my kid hearing crazy cussing in the computer room from my house .

Whatever their reason for doing it, ranting about it here is an old topic and does not amount to anything, other than the same argument about language filters and server admins.

You want to make a difference go plead your case to the server forum where you were kicked from. We can't help you with that. We got rid of the rant boards for a reason.
