Backing up DVD's

Hello, im looking for a way to copy a dvd onto my computer just so i have a backup of it. Not sure how to do it though, can someone point me in the right direction? I tried using a dvd ripper program but it just said it was copy protectred.thanks in advance

i know how to copy them but not copy onto a hard drive.

A program called DVD Shrink is what you need.

EDIT: YOu mean movie DVDs or Game DVDs?

If you mena games try Alchol120%

No, for movies you need DVD Shrink. It will both copy and copy to hard drive.

DVD shrink is. Alcahol has a trial version.

at the very end it said failed to write to disc..some issue with size, what kind of discs do i need to get?
