I found a way to host my own BF2 RANKED server on my computer. Is this allowed?

dopends on the specs of the pc and the speed of the conection but it wont be ranked so unless you want to play custom maps or use it for training there is not much point

True it would not be ranked. You have to pay for those.

1st of all no its not allowed. 2nd of all I don't believe you and here is why. The ranked server code is different to the unranked server code. Even if somehow you managed to get a hold of the ranked server code it wouldn't do you any good because the ranked server ip must be logged with EA to collect stats.
