I can no longer get repair points

After receiving my verteran combat engineer, I can seriously no longer get a single reapair point. My friend is experiancing the same problem. I repaired about twenty things before i decided it was definatly a bug. And it wasn't self inflicted damage or anything. All were legit repairs that would get me points no problem before. Is this a known bug? Is anyone else having this problem?

Hmm, Ill have to check that out. I seem to have gotten some repair points yesterday but maybe the bugs just kicking in.

No, I got my expert engineer combat on Karkand in an APC at the bridge choke point.

No I wasn't commander. The text that says "you got a repair point" doesn't show and I do not receive any teamwork points. The vehicles and items fill up on armor but I get nothing. It is really strange that it happened to my friend too but not many others.

Ok just checking: You know you dont get repair points when you repair an unoccupied vehilce right?

on the side : even a commander get's repairpoints ... He doesn't receive points ingame, but the repairpoints count for his stats. Evenso with heal and ressuply :)

i got my veteran repair about a week and a half ago...i can still get points.

just try another server, or disconnect end join again, I don't know if it is related, but sometimes, my kills don't get counted up , for example, I kill 10 people, ten times there is "you killed ..... " , but when I look at score board, there are only 5 kills or something

This is something that I have noticed that when you go up to a, let's say a arty piece and look at, in the bottom right above where your ammo and like info are located you get your little shield with a plus in it. If you start repairing the arty and the bar does not start filling up, then it is not giving you the rapair points. One way to fix this is to be in a buggy/hummer or armor when you repair it. Another is to stop, look away from the object, turn back to face it and try it again. If still nothing leave the area and come back and try again, another way is to get killed then try it.

I haven't had exactly the same problem but I have noticed there are times when I will never receive a 'You have earned a repair point!' message...we were playing all engineers in an armoured convoy in Karkand and was shocked to never have seen a message and then gotten a medal with 38+ team points...you sure you aren't earning them ?

The points are awarded by time spent repairing and are independent of what you repair...so say you fix a buggy you might get no points but then get points shortly after starting repairs on arty...its all about how long you spent turning the wrench...

EDIT: Oh and I am a veteran engineer...

I still get them.
ive foudn tho..its much easier for me to fix **** by driving up to it then actaully using my wrench.
If Im on a repair binge, I usually jump in a HMMV and drive aroudn to stuff to fix and park next to it..usually takes a quarter of the time to repair Ive noticed.
Liek ever notice you can wrench on arty for 2 minutes before its fixed..but drive up to it and WHAMMO its fixed..wtf..

It happened to me too. On Fushe pass I was in a chopper and repaired the UAV, the satelite, the arty, and 3 bridges, and no points at all. I'm not sure if it was because I was in a vehicle, but I should've gotten at least the special ability points.
