I also have to question idea that competitive players somehow have to take the "high ground" once the accusations/complaints start getting flung around in pubs. So because we work harder we somehow owe the community? One other item to note: for every loudmouth clan guy theres 15 clan guys that are just playing the game, like you, for fun. When that stuff starts flying - and it happpens a lot - it gets old quick, even for the formerly quiet ones.

I know I won't be changing any minds with this post, but I would really like to see the next guy that wants to make the same kind of post as the OP set up a local server and try to replicate the "hack/glitch/exploit" himself before screaming hax on a public board. I'd wager that every time he'd end up learning something that gave him an advantage the next time he jumped into a MP server.

learn how to gun in single player. 3/4ths of the time i fly for a pubber, he doesn't know the TV guide exists or will just type "Why are you pointing me at their chopper?" right as we get tv guided by someone from the comp. community.

I usually give the gunner a chance, and if he fires the machine gun at the tank, I'll go to the edge of the map and let the out of bounds kill him, and then kill the rest by myself.

First, I'm not your son--thank God! Second, you mean you can't take out a tank with your rockets? Maybe you should think of the team then and just give up piloting altogether, eh?

Seriously, you'd TK a guy for not being good enough to take out a tank with a TV guided missile, but it's perfectly okay for you to be unskilled as a pilot and not know how to use rockets? Wow. Just... wow.

well i read every post in this thread and.............
superskilled one man helo clan pro player,with abbility to go 82-2 in a round and have extreme skill at TV firing at 400m with 100% accuracy,why not put youre clan and skill and go play some tournements where you can maybe win money or something????

when coming in to public server you should have the decency to atleast let a noob/unskilled pub player have a chance with youre most favorite toy(heli/gunner)

try joining a squad(teamwork) and speak to you co pilot(teamwork) so what if they dont play every hour of there life flying helo's or a few extra deaths hurt u feelings or do u cry when ur chopper gets hit and then you parental insincts kick in and force you to teamkill(not teamwork)

i couldnt care less how many points a person gets in a game as long as they play fair and respect the skill of the average player,

i play sniper all the time but i dont teamkill my commander becuase he didnt give me a supply crate when im out of ammo,i just face virtual death and go out with my pistol or knife (occasonaly the other player will pull there out and duel with me) <--- fun in a public server

i respect skill and flying a helo good is a skill in itself but,whoring it up in heli on a public server is ..........

AND teamkilling is also from the same 2 points.

my advice to you.
1.enjoy youre clan games and win by any means you can
2.help youre teammates by using coms if possible and let some newb get in the gunner seat.other need practice too
3.make sure youre life does not just avolve around "i must not be killed" "im leet get out my heli" "i dont care if you got there 1st im a better pilot so that means im allowed to teamkill you"

oh maybe get a girlfreind and practice some other skills that are far more important than helo/teamkill/solo flying on pubs.

well thats my view some may like others will probaly not,but i dont care cus the only thing i whore is my rifle <--thats allowed.

It might just be me, but these kind of people seem to get really angry when you counter their cheap method with something even more cheap. What am I saying? Why, ram the fool with a jet, of course! Bet you the second you do he throws a hissy fit and you get the last laugh.

A suggestion: if this is such a problem for some people perhaps it should be made impossible to switch from the pilot seat to the gunner seat? The victims would be happy and the pilots, if truly so skilled as they claim to be, would adapt.

If you have a problem with a majority vote on public players, then feel free to play unranked mod servers. Fine by me, but if DICE decide to integrate in my idea (WHICH btw I have now formally posted in the DICE questions thread, pray tell it gets sent)

Public players are the true players friend, and in my personal opinion clanners like you are whinging little bigots, your inability to adapt while already exploiting unbalances and mis-directed game features are what caused the pubbers to rise up.

And I'll tell you why: until I met -=RD=-Volx (who plays on internode servers for your information) I never knew what c4 frisbee was. Until I met the -$ila- clan I never knew what DD or even BH was (and yes, $ila are tankwhores, jetwhores, and c4 chucked profusely pre-1.2. only difference now is the lack of the c4. These guys have tked me for vehicles before and will do so again I know). Every negative aspect of this game, from stat-padding (the recent and massive bust on v3ng34nc3's (sp) clan) to tk-for-vehicle to exploiting (sitting inside buildings, or the infamous invulnerable spot) I have witnessed, or learnt from a clanner.

I hate you people. You ruin the game for *me*.

Wow, you sir are an idiot. Just because some nub can't tv guide doesn't mean he can't kill anything with rockets. If have noticed, choppers go down a lot easier than they use to. Getting closer to the ground makes it easier for AA,Tank,AT,MG's to hit you. I don't want to waste time dieing over and over agian because some pubber can't click his mouse.

adapt my ass dude. thats what ****ed me off about the new patch, people complained and they changed it cause noobs never adapted themselves and tried to learn the game to stop the person owning them. instead they complained to ea and they changed it for them. its like complaining about it being too hard to sack manning in madden football so they should change it so thats its easier to sack him. noobs should take the time to learn the phucking game instead of whining and getting the game changed. if you can't hang with someone more skilled than you then leave the room and go somewere else and up your game. dont be gey and start ramming them in a jet cause they're better than you.

I guess I am not seeing my BS attitude. I explain something to you from a different perspective and since you lack the ability to grasp it from our end....... my attitude sucks. On a daily basis being kicked, banned, and accused of cheating takes its toll. So if someone retaliates its due to aggravation from constant harassment by usually more than one person. You can only tempt someone so long before they snap.

Now you see I told you that you haven't caught a clue and I was right because clearly you didn't take the time to read the post carefully. I gave you a look at our end and in your world of arrogance you decide to skip over everything I posted and simply attack my "attitude." Yet you still do it, knowing full well that someone is gonna call you a cheat.... Unless you are a complete moron that is.... Since you know someone is gonna b!tch about your gaming tricks, yet you still practice the techniques in pubs, you take full responsibility for your actions; and therefore, have to suck it up and take some abuse from the kids..
