Word to the wise: some of you pubbers should really be careful with the accusations. Strike is a top-tier team in BF2 competition and as such theyre subject to a lot of scrutiny, ie demos, etc. That he's able to do what he did shouldnt be a surprise to anyone as competitive players will practice much more than average to get an extra edge. Theres a reason why most compteitive (CAL/TWL) clan guys rack up big scores on pubs: the level of play is much higher than what many of you are exposed to on a regular basis and its really easy to jump into a pub after a scrim/match and blow off some steam lighting up guys like the OP.

You should also realize that hes egging you on at this point.

Well.. your top tier clan member certainly hasn't shown that he deserves any respect by making comments about TK'ing for choppers etc. And looking at his stats.. he loves to team kill, so if that's the kind of top tier clan Strike is, well, i guess my next question how do YOU define top tier, lol.

And while im making my first post (im a troller since the site opened up, this guys post got me riled up enough to actually say something), let me say that all the pilots that are talking about how it's better to solo chopper instead of getting a gunner, your just a stat padding whore too who doesn't play the game how's it's suppose to be played. If you want to gun, gun, if you want to fly, fly, but don't take away a perfectly good seat in an attack chopper so you can pad your stats and stroke yourself about how many switch tv missles you can get.

Attack chopper function best with two people anything less and your shorting your team.. how does camping a uncappable spawn point and blasting a respawing tank with a TV missle over and over help the team? Talk about noob.. that's the most noob thing i've heard of in a long time.

its not hard at all to hit people alone in an attack chopper if you're good at it. He's probably practiced a lot. I do solo flying a lot and it's definately not as hard as many people think.

I agree about the baseraping, but disagree about a chopper team beeing better...

Anyone saying that, is simply not able to fly solo and hence has no clue about the advantages it brings...

PimpHand... you're misunderstanding. I didn't say I'd rather be alone than have a gunner, I said I'd rather fly alone than have a NOOB gunner.

Most of the time, I fly with my friend, who is awesome in the gunner seat. Obviously I'd much rather have him in there, than fly myself. And once in a while, I meet a gunner who knows what he's doing, and it's all good.

But most people who get into that gunner seat have no idea what they're doing, and all they do is frustrate the hell out of me. So yeah, if there's nobody good available, I'd rather fly by myself. And why not? I can TV things from 400m away with almost 100% accuracy, not to mention TV'ing the other chopper out of the air.

I don't see how you can call that stat padding, or being selfish. It's pretty simple really:

Me + noob = we die repeatedly, and get no points, thus not helping team at all

Me + Me = I get tons of kills, and stay alive for the whole game, destroying every vehicle that gets spotted, thus helping my team immensely.

              Here's another video btw

              More solo gunning

then tell my why EA made them 2 seat vehicles.. your the one abusing the game, playing it in a way that it was not meant to be play. I, on the other hand, would rather work with teammate and you can't tell me a good gunner + good pilot won't beat a solo gunner in any type of chopper skill test... if you do then you don't have any clue about choppers in this game.

that's cool.. and i understand that. I always play on the same server so i have people i know and i would always rather help a guy learn the gunner seat than just hog all the kills.. that's just not my style..

                      Solo pilots. Please drop dead.

I don't care how good you are, its wrong to go of alone and deny others of using the second seat. Nothing pi$$es me off more than seeing a chopper fly of with an empty seat.

All them comments about noob gunners. How about noob pilots who just ignore all the ground troopers you have spotted and the pilot don't line you up.

Noob pilots are just as bad. That's the beauty of solo gunning, it eliminates the noob factor from both seats.

I can see an advantage to using solo gunners as in low player number clan matches. It does free up an extra man to do something else.

However, clanners need to remember there's a differeance between a match and a pub session. Yeah, if you're going to exploit, TK for vehicles, or be a general arsehole, I feel kicking yer arse out of the server is perfectly justified.

Would you even take the time to explain how TV missiles work? Or just crash the heli an TK the noob before he got onboard again. TKing is bad, mkay? Teaching noobs is good, mkay? Means one less noob in the world, mkay?

Uh just for the record, I never said I TK for choppers. I don't kick people out of the helo, or take off without people. I fly solo when there's nobody around, and I'm just saying I like it better that way.

But all this crap is getting off topic. The reason I posted in the first place was to demonstrate that strike|Danny is NOT hacking. I don't really care what people think about solo gunning, as long as they understand that it's not cheating.
