You know I watched my five year old nephew playing a football game the other day, it reminded me of most Bf2 games, why?
The game kicked off and they all ran after the ball, no defence, no attack, it was chaos. I'm not saying it should be like pro game but most players on publics have been playing the game for some time.
I think the scoring system is to blame, tankwhore, planewhore, killing machines. How about this for an idea, instead of giving two points for a kill why not give one and then give an assist to everyone on the team?
Just consider what it would mean though, if your a pilot, getting say 100pts, you'd only get 50, you'd also get very few normal 'team points' but everyone on your team would have 50 plus what they got by capping flags etc. You'd quite likely get only half way up the scoreboard!
What a boost for the rest of the team though, heck you'd actually encourage the best tanker to take that tank, or the best chopper pilot to do his stuff, instead of all the rubbish that goes on for such things at the moment.
