my friend is planing to buy bf 2 but he has only CD-ROM not dvd rom, and as i know u can get bf 2 in a cd format not only in a dvd format am i right?

I think it depends on your locale. From my understanding from previous posts (dating back almost a year, so forgive me if I'm not remembering correctly), Europe is pretty much exclusively DVD while North America is pretty much exclusively CD-ROM. It kind of sucked at the time for me because I hate CD-ROMs, but no where could I find a DVD version of BF2--I'm in N.A. obviously.Comment

dvd and cd (got them at Electronic Beatique (sp?))
used the dvd to install on all 4 systems on home LAN

only bought 2 SF
was unimpressed with it (fps reduction)
naw - to be honest - not enough air action
(I am not very good on the ground :P)
will try 2 EF when able
son and I play BF2 all the time
and sometimes he brings his buddies over
