I love when a tank/vehicle drives over your C4- and you motion to hit the button. But then it lags. 10 seconds later, you've been ran over.

I love when you empty your whole clip on someone at point-blank range, only 4 of your bullets did anything, they get up instead and knife you.

I love when the only kills you seem to be able to get is teamkills.

I love it when I get the Purple Heart Medal.

I love it when it lags as you take off with the helicopter.

Oh yes... and I love those people who TK you for the helicopter/aircraft- though you were there first. Moments later, they die because they sucked really bad, so you wait for helo to spawn again, and they repeat the process of tking you and crashing the helo again.

And of course, I love it when you pretty much hit someone with a rocket/shell, but they're still hopping around like a live bunny.

... Love for me is a bitter word.

I love one-shot kills with every round in the first magazine of my sniper rifle.

Which reminds me, I love out-sniping snipers with non-sniping weapons.

Too many a time- a sniper takes a shot at me, I either get hit, or realise because he misses (usually- they're thinking "Ha ha! I gotcha!")- and I take cover (well, if I was hit- it depends if I'm still alive or not), so- the 'return-fire' battle resumes. Usually- the sniper is somewhere far up in a crane, where there's not so much space to move, where I have the ground and some fair cover to my advantage.

First I spot the bastard so I can keep track of his movement; then I just take a few semi-auto shots at him, usually hits him in the head because of his positioning on the crane.

Great to see when snipers find out they're not so great after all with their big long gun.

How do I love thee, let me count the ways...

I love that there's some semblance of teamplay and it's NOT CS.

I love when you bury C4 into a flag post, wait for enemies to come, let them turn the flag wait and then blow them up.

I C4ing enemy command assets, only for them to drop a supply box and C4ing it again.

I love dropping artillery on commanders or lone snipers. For some reason it's more satisfying than a whole group of soldiers. Maybe it's because you destroy their sense of safety.

I love stealing your buddy's tank as they're repairing them on the road.

I love when you're in a tank and someone runs around the corner to hide only to have splash damage kill them

I love when you're a commander and someone thinks they're sneaky and tries to knife you. Only to find out you weren't in the command screen and you pull the trigger on them.

I love when I can get command points AND WIN, but virtually doing nothing and the team takes care of the round.

I love I can't fly any vehicles in this game. DRIVES ME NUTS!

I love that my friends got me hooked on the game months after they started playing and now I'm doing much better than all of them. I have low self esteem and that sort of things BOOSTS my ego!

I love that BF2 makes me horny. Nothing else does.

I love that my fiancee lets me play BF2 at least an hour a day. Then she lets me play with her.

I love that BF2 take precendence over eating. I've lost 10 pounds!

                I love that there's a community where I can write why I love BF2.

I love looking at stat pages and seeing the numbers I've accumulated.

I love that I can play BF2, since the NFL season is over.

I love that I got my nickname ingame, even though I bought the game late.

I love that I can always make you smile.

I love that there's an award system. Keeps me interested and wanting to play more.

I love that I have the SAS Service Ribbon... only 40 people have it :)

The L96. That rifle has made sniping into an awfully addictive thing.

Add to it how the claymores generally are "fire and forget" weapons that instead of earning a pair of TK punishes, now earn a pair of kills, and being a sniper has risen to almost orgasmic levels.

Ooops... I just looked at Phenom's sig. Nix the orgasmic comment.

Re: Things I love about BF2

I love being in armor and allow an attack chopper line up a shot only to shoot them down with a direct shell hit.

Shooting down a blackhawk with tank shell full of troops at 200m and hear your squad on voip all yell, "Oooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhh, NICCCCEE."

Pre 1.2, having your chopper pilot line you up a shot and chasing down and destroying a plane with a tv guided missle. 8 planes destroyed, 3 solo'd switching to gunner seat.

Having a new player in your squad and saying in awe, "Wow, youre a First Lt.? Wowww.."

Planting mines in a dark shaded area on the ground and see a Humvee or Vodnik approaching with a full load. As you see them approaching the trap your mouth starts watering and you cant wait for the:

                        DarkJediKnight{At Mine}Noob1
                        DarkJediKnight{At Mine}Noob2
                        DarkJediKnight{At Mine}Noob3
                        DarkJediKnight{At Mine}Noob4

Rigging a flag radius with all the c4 you have and later you are across the map. Remembering to make sure to see when the flag goes neutral so you can blow it "We've lost control of an outpost!" Right click, BEEP. Instant 6 kills at that flag.

When I'm in armor looking for an enemy on the uav. You have the turret aiming in his direction and you spot him hiding behind a tree in some grass but you pretend like you dont see him. You just kinda shoot your machine gun around or in his direction but never actually point the turret right at em letting him think he might be safe. After kind of seem like you are going to leave and let him try to rush you with c4 and you kill him. Fun for me.

On a similar note in armor, happening to come over a hill onto 2 noobs that havnt made Pfc. yet and have no rank over their name. I feel so bad for them sometimes I just act like I dont see them even though they are right there. Dont want to discourage them into not playing the game if they are getting owned really bad.:)

Playing Gulf of Oman and and I'm on MEC winning. The US still has 2 flags but their tickets are going down yet THE ENTIRE US TEAM is still camping at the carrier waiting for a plane and all their aircraft is flying around. I just sit back and and say to myself "At least they are not smart enough to come to the land and cap flags."

                          Reviving good threads.

Blasting people in the face with the pump shotty.

Jumping off of a building then squashing an enemy by landing on him.

Jumping off small drop offs and not taking damage due to my space bar jump/parachute bind. Then hearing my team mate die or take damage trying to make the same jump

James bond high speed buggy chases, guns a blazin.

When out numbered in Close Quarters Combat right click drop grenade and running around a corner.

Getting drunk on friday night and getting lucky enough to find a cool squad of guys just as drunk as me. Going around having a blast and being a team.
