everytime i try and download a new map or a new MOD or anything it causes my game to crash as soon as the map loads.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

ASUS A8n SLI-Deluxe
AMD Athlon 64 3700+
2 gig of DDR 3700
2 WD 36 gig 10k RPM SATA RAID hard drives
EVGA 7800GT

so i know specs arent the issue. i am sure i am missing somethign real simple. most of the mods are just an exe or such which self extract themselves. is there a follow up i need to be doing manually?

are you trying to use the maps in singleplayer? they crash in singleplayer

hmmm i don't recall but ill try reinstalling one and going multi and see what happens.
