    I searched through this site and on google and didn't see this answer so I thought that I would post it. Also, this may be just a communication problem, but if you read my original post you will see that when I configured the joystick with the ingame control options as you suggest, it would not work. My solution is to make the game think you are still flying with the mouse.

    My joystick also makes the plane yaw slightly to the right. It seems like the spring in the stick does not pull it all the way back to the center after I push it to the right. You could increase the dead zone of the joystick in the software that came with it or you can be lazy like me and just turn the stick slightly to the left after yawing to the right.
