i have the same problem with all my weapons and the UAV. Whenever I kill someone the weapon is prefixed by "killmessage..." this now happens in every game I play. I am not sure what has caused it, but it may be related to installing an earlier patch after a later one, then reinstalling a later patch.

It comes from using the incremental patches. Just use the full patches.

I used to have that. one of the patches fixed it for me though. Just ignore it.

I had the same problem.. But it was after I installed some strange mod? W/e just re-install if you can with the full patch 1.3 and it's gone

LOL, its the UAV revealing its secret message. Real UAV's nowadays do have the technology to kill. :p

wtf is your problem, you have a high end card so you trash someone who dont? buy one for him or stfu.

I had the same problem. Seemed to start when I accidently applied an update patch in the wrong order. The problem happened on every game, and even if I played offline. EAGames tech support got me the fix. Here is what they recommended and what I did.

Thanks for writing us at EA Technical Support. Sorry for the inconvenience, I know how you feel, I am a gamer and consumer myself, please be assured that we are doing our best to solve your issue. I understand that you are having issues regarding a strange message showing up on the game depending on your weapon.

First I need some additional information to isolate the issue. Please provide us with these information.
Did the issue occurs on both singleplayer and multiplayer?

First please try to delete the save files:

1. Open "My Documents".
2. Right-click on the "Battlefield 2" folder and choose "Delete".

You will need to delete the standard Windows temporary files:

Delete the temporary files from last installation.
1. Click on the "Start" button.
2. Click "Run".
3. Type "temp" into the available text field and click "OK".
4. Click on one of the files in the folder that just opened, and press "Ctrl" and "A" to select all of the files in this folder.
5. Press the "Delete" key on your keyboard. When prompted if you are sure, choose "Yes" to all.

Reinstall the latest patch for the game and empty your temp folder.
Note: Please make sure that you install the full patch 1.3

anyone tried driving the bh up to the front of the uav and crash into it? maybe thats why, somebody got killed by the uav....
