Wierd Lag

Well after this new patch i cant stop lagging like an animal. (Yes i know animals dont lag but you get the point). I have 2 gigs of ram, a 256mb GeForce 6600 PCI-E vid card along with a 3.2ghz intel pentium 4. So i have good PC specs, i usually just ran the game on Medium and pre patch had never seens lag/chop. Now after the patch i even lowered it to low settings and its like playing the game in slow motion. Did my computer all of a sudden get crappier? Anyone else have this problem? any suggestions?

Have you updated punkbuster yet? That can REALLY help sometimes.

That and also increasing the pb scan interval to the max.

-bring down the console (~)
-type 'pb_sleep 500' and hit enter
-type 'pb_writecfg' and hit enter
-close console
