So im flying the f35b. @ gulf of oman.
im behind the bomber but kinda far back. but i lock he drops flares, i relock. i shoot 3 missles. they all come to about 2 inches from hitting the back of the plane. and then turn 90 degrees and go after something else. so i shoot 3 more quick. all 3 hit. and the other 3 also hit something.

I end up with -6 team damage from the first 3 missles. and another -6 team damage from the bomber. Plus another -8 for teamkilling 2 guys(no kills). which were definately enemies. the round had just started

So im so baffled by how stupid this is. i end up crashing. so ive got -22 teamscore now. so i toss a bunch of supply bags down. jump in the plane. fly for a good 10 minutes straight without dieing. without anymore tking. and i get up to top score of my team. and im at like -11 because of kill damage assists. which are likely from my chain gun spamming. I get shot down by the mig-29 and i get switched. while im bitching about being switched this sniper comes up to me. shoots me with pistol a couple times. probably because i shot him down like 10 times. i shoot 1 bullet back and he dies. and i get kicked for teamkilling.

Now aint that the ********.

How did you get -6 from killing an enemy bomber? And how did you get -22 out of -6 -6 -8? And how did you get 2 TK's from killing teammates who were "definitely enemies?" I don't feel too inclined to believe your story...

-6 -6 -8 = -20

and then the crash/suicide is another -2 i guess. if not maybe i got another team damage or something.

Well i dunno how i teamkilled them. when im sure they were red named. the round did just start. so my team couldnt have of stolen the bomber yet.

This happens to me too. When I destroy an enemy aircraft, it says "I killed so and so", but then it says "team vehicle damage" and I get -4 pts.

This game is retarded.

Last night I damaged one of my own vehicles with a mine...no idea how that happened.

Depending on the server, it may have FF enabled on the land mines.

I know what you mean. The AA is hard to deal with because you never really know where the missiles will end up now. In the LInebacker I noticed that Team Vehicle Damage points a lot more than the Stingers or IGLA. I had a similar experience, I watched an enemy chopper fly overhead on Daqing, I jumped into the Linebacker @ U.S. main and I let 2 fly. At the same time, a team mate jumped into the BH and was warming it up and the friggin rockets went straight for the BH even though the lock was clearly on the Z10, the result = (-16) 4 peeps in the BH dead :dead: :dead: :dead: :dead: .
The game is great, but the patches are a trip.

It happens.

All the time, actually. I was playing on Wake Island yesterday, locked onto an F35B with a J-10, launched 2 missiles...one went forward, and hit into it, making it smoke, the other one was inches away, and it turned 180 degrees, and slammed straight back into me. What the hell?! Thats just wrong...

Also, does anyone else notice when you're shooting a target plane that is turned sharply, when you launch missiles they seem to....circle strafe would be the best way to describe it.

lol. Ive had some come pretty damn close back towards me. but ive never had one hit me after a 180 degree turn.

as for ur question. im not completely sure what you mean. but ive had people go in tight turn and me still shooting at them. and it ends up going to just behind the cockpit and circle around there a bit until it decides to explode.
