L96A1 Penetration!

Hi there!

This is probably the wrong forum for this, didn't know if it should be posted in euro, sf, or this forum...

I've tried ALOT of times shooting chopper pilots through the window with the new unlock sniper, L96A1, and I haven't yet achieved to kill anyone (I did that alot back with the M95). Can the L96A1 shots actually penetrate that glass (is it called panzar glass?).

Not in my opinion, only M95 can.

The L96A1 isn't glass penetrating only the M95.

I have noticed since the last patch my sniping accuracy had gone way up but i had about 6-7 helo kills in the week or 2 before this patch and i cant seem to get one now with the m95

I've shot out a gunner mid air post 1.2. I've never done it pre 1.2.

yesterday I took down a cobra on dragon valley with 4 m95 shots to the cockpit, couldn't kill the pilot but blew up the whole chopper

It was probably damage from before, i dont think 4 rounds will destroy the helo just like that.

the L96 has same specs as the M24.... And no penetration.

Yeah, kind of disappointing....

On Sharqi, when doing counter-chopper strikes, i use the L96 to achieve long distance shots. But, once they hop into the chopper, i sure wish i had the M95 at that point because they hunt me down and slaughter me.

Doesn't it have a sligthly better accuracy? If not I feel dissapointed, coz I seriously own with the L96A1...

The answer to that is yes most definately, I did it yesterday evening after being killed by a capping chopper respawned at market place before they could cap with L96 specifically to try this, chopper was on the ground a few feet ahead of me capping flag with the gunner outside speeding up the cap, single headshot killed the pilot.

The answer to that is yes most definately, I did it yesterday evening after being killed by a capping chopper respawned at market place before they could cap with L96 specifically to try this, chopper was on the ground a few feet ahead of me capping flag with the gunner outside speeding up the cap, single headshot killed the pilot.

Err, dunno how that happened mate, the M95 is the only sniper rifle capable of penetrating glass.......maybe he died of fright?
