As you know there are 2 options for the map in the upper right corner. Fixed and rotating. You´ll use the map a LOT more when flying and youll navigate much faster and easier while using the rotating map. I thought it was a bitch to adjust but it wasnt. As a pilot, I appreciate the direction its showing me and whatnot. I know most of the players dont mess around with it, but it feels a LOT more natural. The problem arises when you use the NORTH, EAST, WEST, SOUTH when youre talking to people, but all it takes is adjustment.

Re: Map navigation [pilots]
I just wish that when you were flying, they'd adjust the center to the bottom so that you get more information about what is in front of you rather than what is behind. Also, they need to allow you to fly out of the normal boundaries and know where the hell you are rather than letting you guess, as you can't see your position on the mini-map. That got me killed more often than it should have. -

Thats one of the beauties of the rotating map. You dont have to see the "visual sight" marks to see where youre looking at. The map adjusts according to your flight pattern. No problems in finding your way home.Originally posted by XanthiasI just wish that when you were flying, they'd adjust the center to the bottom so that you get more information about what is in front of you rather than what is behind. That "more visual in front than back" was a great way in Ace Combat arcade flight sims. DICE most probably didnt have the necessary suggestions, feedback to implement such a small change.Comment
