What weapon should I unlock

I just got my first unlock, any suggestions on what I should get?
I usually go anti-tank but im open to all suggestions

I heard that I shouldn't unlock assualt, because it only holds 20 ammo and loses its grenade launcher.

Any suggestions would be appreciated

You won't go wrong if you choose anti-tank. I'd say that's the most fun unlock.

Anti tank The DAO 12 cleans up :) or medic cant go wrong with being a medic

I love the anti-tank gun the dao-12 and the G36E for spec ops is a good gun to.

well if you go assualt yes u lsoe ya launcher thats correct but the next unlock under that it comesback the F2000. its all in your opinion really ive heard good things about the assults 1st unlock G3. and i have heard badthings i dont have it. im workin towards the new sniper rifle right now an then ill unlock the dao 12. then the G3 or might even unlcok the G3 before the shotgun. it all depends what do u like what do u want to play. my mastake on my TexasRebel82 char 1st unlock was thay gay m95.

L85A1. Unlock weapon for medic. Medic is an all round class, very good at general situation. So when you are not playing AT, you might see yourself using Medic in Infantry Combat. DAO 12 sucks at range thus is very inflexible, If I am playing MEC, I will use the PP19 if not I will use P90(2nd tier unlock for AT). I don't know why...I don't quite like shotguns

You get the P90 as an unlock for Anti-Tank thats pretty sweet...

So you do get the G-36E, coolies I just thought that was for SF...

I think I might unlock the G3 first for assault or the SA80 for Medic, so hard to choose...

Most cases you are right on top of the enemy and the shotgun works great. I have both the DAO and the Jackhammer. The L85A1 does not work well for me. I like the M16 or AK better.

I think that guy was referring to the G36C for Spec-ops ... Medic uses G36E as a 2nd tier unlock (only if you have BF2:SF)

My 1st unlock was DAO-12, I love it! But I'm very glad I unlocked the G36C as well, VERY useful.

Go with the class you play the most, or are most interested in playing. I would suggest a class that has added benefits - like Medic or Spec ops - both weapons for them are good choices (personally the G36C Spec Ops is better). This way you are using a good weapon and getting more kills (in theory) and you have added pts for either med packs or blowing up assets.

You want to look at the best way to get to your next unlock. You can get a couple of unlocks early on, very fast. It is when you get to your 4th unlock or so that the ranks are pretty painful time frames between them that you want to make sure you get the right one.

The G3, second Tier unlock for assault is a great pick. Sure you lose your grenade launcher, but you get grenades in its place. Yeah it only holds 20 rounds per-clip, but it has great accuracy, and does high damage, so if you can aim, those 20 shells kill lots of dirty MEC Besides, if the situation calls for your nade launcher just roll back to your M203 for a kill or two.

The PKM, second Tier unlock for the support class is a great pick as well. Due to a recent accuracy tweak, it has become very useful, the way it should have been since introduction, before, firing the weapon was almost like having a siezure, the deviation was horrible, its tight now. Plus you can support your teammates and shower them with ammo for extra points during a round.

I think the L8A51(spelling), second Tier medic rifle is fair. It has a decent scope so medium to long range firing is ok, but it just doesnt sting, decent rate of fire, but its hard for me to drop a target at a distance. Plus the medic class is the most needed on the battlefield, cause well everyone gets shot, and dies at some point:p
