i don't think you can do it like that...and if you can, i'm sure it'd be too much of a hassle. -

Re: directory change
im pretty sure that if i try to install it on a comp it will do the same cuz it will treat it like a comp and try to put that file in the c directory which it cant because this comp has a sheiff badge type card/program on it so u cant f up any of the system files but fyi i can install it on a hard drive that is not part of the comp its a network hard drive but i believe it will put thet dll file in c still...Comment

Re: directory change
if you want to play on the cd, the best way to do it is to install the game to the hard drive, then copy the folder to a cd. and that might require a few others changes to make it work properly.Comment

Re: directory change
yeah i already did that when i tried running it at the other comp it said it couldnt find that d3dx9_25.dll file so i come back and look for and its in the c:\windows\systems32 folder and i put it on a small mem card and tried it just off the mem card didnt work then slapped it on desktop still didnt work i then go into system32 try to paste and it says that its write protected or full , i check it out and its not even 1/4 full then i go to properties and find out the hard drive is locked down u cant even install like java or something.....Comment
