my voip is working, but....

every time i try to say something i get a "can you speak up a bit there mate" or the like. try as i might, i havent been able to get the volume louder. ideas?

p.s. i heard someone mention a thing called "BF2voicesetup.exe" or something but i dont know what that is. is it automaticaly installed with bf2?

Yes, it is installed in the same folder as the game. Supposedly it runs during initial setup to configure voip but can also be run later. Always crashes when trying to save for me. Have you enabled "mic boost" in BF2's audio options? There's also a similar option in Windows sound settings along with a volume control for the mic.
