Player Quality

Hey Guys I have noticed recently that the player quality has dropped significanly!

I mean clans still rock. I personally enjoy getting my buddies out there and we like to go against different clans on public servers.

WE have found ( much more common now than ever before) that a flag does not get capped unless we cap it and a flag does not get defended unless we defend it. It is amaizing! Last night alone we ran from one flag to the other. We would cap one then the next and as we were on the third we would see the first one falling already. That whole round went that way.

Any thoughts? where did the good players go? Is there a server I dont know about?

In the new patch Dice has nerfed and noobified the game significantly so all of the noobs who stopped playing it before or didn't play it as much are playing a lot more now and as a result the noob to good player ratio is much higher now.

Ill i noticed is player number has dropped. Or server number

This happened right when the little news of 1.21 came up. I lost about 500 servers

bug or something?? Used to get about 1200 servers at this time not full/ranked/no password servers. Still a lot of servers so not a problem

I get 170ish with all the filters lit except battlecommo(or similar word). I never used to get any results if i changed my filters so i got over 2000 every time.
Post 1.2 they work (every (bug ridden)cloud etc..)

Did ya try DEFENDING? It's tough sometimes to do all things, though, I know.

Of all my faults, defending flag is the biggest

Once capped, try hanging around for a few mins.. heh :)

Was that on our server? I have noticed the same thing. Our guys running around capping defending flags but the rest of the team doesn't seem to be doing anything. If we don't do it, it doesn't get done.

I don't know what's going on but I have noticed the same thing. Maybe its because all the players who couldn't play before have come back for what they see as the miracle patch. All the good players are leaving in disgust because the game has been dumbed down so much that its no challenge anymore.

I just checked BF2 tracker and their server capacity figure has not changed more than 1k.

Although the amount of players on right now are about 10k more than usual.

So that, although unlikely, may be the answer.

It is hard to belive there are so many non thinkers playing bf2!.

I've noticed a lot of privates recently & have been glad to give them a ride :)

then they turn into the alt account killers from HELL.. lol

Did you ever stop to think that you may just be getting better? It usually happens when you practice.

On that topic, I've played on alot of servers since the new patch and alot of them have been, use attack heli or aircraft or any other vehicle to rack up as many kills possible, and not bother even capping any flags. If you ask me teamwork is at a all time low.

I have to agree to be honest.Today I was having to use chat quite abit to inform my team mates that the enemy was moving to a flag.However they never listened and it was upto me to defend by myself using a L96A1 wave after wave of clan members in a squad.
Asked commander for supplies when had ran out but guess what never got them and I lost the flag.
All people do now is fight where the action is.Karkand for example Americans always go to the right because that's where the action and points are.Hardly anyone thinks about using the left flank.Frustrating.

YES, there are flags that need capping, IT IS VITAL TO THE GAME
