    What about the server browser?

Everybody knows the filters are broken, but I don't remember ever seeing an acknowledgment, much less attempted fix in the patch notes.

    Did I miss one?

The filters actually seem to work alright as of now, but BF2 still easily has the worst in-game server browser ever. I dream of the day when they just give up and use HL2DM/CSS/DODS server browser. Well, before Valve broke it in their latest series of patches that is.

the ****ty K/D ratios in BFHQ's also need changing to something people can understand instead of having stupid **** like a 1563:678 K/D for my spec-ops :/ idiots.

Regarding the search function in the browsers - does anyone know if/how this works? I have tried typing in, say, "TotalBF2" and nothing comes up. Do I need the exact name, or can I type in "Comcast" and get all of Comcast's designated servers? I've tried doing the latter and it hasn't worked in the past.

I don't know how the name search works, but I would recommend using an external server browser like Xfire. It doesn't have the weird lag that the BF2 one has and the filters are straightforward and actually seem to work.

Actually, since patch 1.2, it seems I can't use the "number of players" filter; it just blanks out the server list (and this is only with using 4 filters).

I just use All Seeing Eye, it's excellent.
