anyone else getting massive amount of lag in SF. its not just me its 2 of my other friends that i play with get lag also. any ideas how to reduce this.

hello. i bought Special forces today,and i noticed that it were very laggy in the beginning of each round,but after a minute or two it got bettter.. (42PING) Only way to avoid lag ,is to have a biggest possible internet connection and shut down all other programs, and not play on servers to far away.. maybe more...

Well after 1.2 all of bf2 is laggy for some and not for others.

Its just one more bug out of a trillion.

And yes, every round is laggy at beginning then it kinda stabilizes.

the whole round lags so bad off and on in that ill be facing one direction and then it will start lagging and next thing i know ill be facing the other direction.

I wouldn't say my lag in SF is massive but i lag more than in vanilla. Also 1.2 made the lag in my game to the pont of it being unplayable but that is because i have an unsupported card.

since the new patch, there is more lag, "there is a problem with your connection" is now my new biggest enemy in choppers , and I am not kidding here, I fly a lot lately and every round I will crash min one time due to "there is a problem with your connection" and I end up side down .

If you ask me, it has all to do with the extra code they added for the disapearing object, when playing AT , you sometimes just see the game lag the moment you fire a rocket , and it still disapears, it is just bugged like hell

I have been getting alot of lag since the 1.2 patch on SF, but BF2 is fine.

I've got the same problem. Lag in every round. And for some reason I can only find about 40 servers. Any ideas for either problem?

I don't lag any more than in normal BF2. I'm very lucky :)

That's strange. Have you tried refreshing the list without filters enabled? I find 422 ranked servers running SF..

I got more lag spikes than usually, 1 time I was like at a ping of 1043, I was like WTF, then it went down to like 80

Hey Still-Killa,

yeah mate, I'm getting major lag in SF, I have probably only played it once since the 1.2 patch. Guess I'll just play Vanilla until 1.21
