I was on the server shortly, noted the points, and left fast again. (Risk of getting reset on modded server? Like the .exp guy?)

It says it's ranked,

16 players on a 64-player map means they can play damn near forever in one round and then the winning team gets upwards of 700 points for just about every player. BUT... BF2RS added that into their rules so those noobs should get their server shut down pretty soon.

No. As long as they are playing the game the way it is meant to be played they are violating no rules. The only problem is if they do something like make it knife/pistol only, restrict vehicle use, restrict arty, not allow people to cap flags, etc. Running a 64 player map with 16 people is not a violation of the rules in and of itself.

I used to play on some of these "high score", low-population/big map servers. I found that I could get a score maybe 4 times as large as on other servers, but then realized that it was taking about 4 times as long to do it. Just having a high score is not a sign of cheating; possibly score per minute is a statistic that we should look closer at?

So does that mean that a certain no-vehicles server I've seen is against the rules? People are kicked for using tanks/APC's in 16-player Karkand.

I don't think i could ever be botherd to play with 16 people for about an hour on a massive map seeing hardly anybody ...for points. Which will mean next to nothing in about a year (give/take a few months).

Edit: On topic, legal enough. But seriously you would have to be quite sad.....bf2rs or whatever it's called shouldn't bother.

ya EXACTLY. ive played one of these before. there was nothing against the rules. you just get loads of tickets for the amount of people. but the map is so big u hardly see people. you definately get better score going with right amount of people.
