Promotion problem

Hey all.

I've been bad.

I have been claymooring it up. I know they are going to change it, so I decided to go after my vet badge for explosives. I'm not sure it's possible, or there is some sort of major hickup. It seems like whenever I do make it, I never get it. Mostly because 5 or more of my kills say that I killed so and so by "KILLS" or "LAV". I'm not sure what's going on, but I can't get the badge. Anybody else haveing this bug?

Yes your claymore might have caused the buggy to blow up, but the buggy exploding (fav) was the weapon that actually was atributed to the death of the other person.

You need to have x amount of kills that state [claymore] or [AT Mine] or [C4] in the same round in order to get the award.

Sucks yes - same thing happens with multiple passengers in a vehicle and using C4 or AT Mine.

But it still says [kills] sometimes. I keep track in the game of all kills by explosives, and it still doesn't register. I have something like 400 kills by explosives in my stats.

Like Beerstein said, it needs to be the claymore explosion that kills your victim to count towards the badge. Also, your total kills don't count towards the IAR (In a round) requirements of the badge. C4 is the most reliable way to get You [C4] victim rather than you [kills] victim.

I have gotten 25 kills with a [Claymore] in one round and didn't get it.

That's odd. Has anyone gotten any explosives badge with claymores or AT mines? I got mine with C4 so I don't know.

Apparently if you die and one of the claymores you set before you died kills someone, it will say they were killed by KILLED.

funniest way to kill someone with claymores is place 2 along a well used roadway and wait for a buggy to drive by. boom! boom! claymore kill.

I love repeatedly putting a claymore in the same spot then watching as the same person runs into it over and over again. You'd think people would learn, eh?

I got my Vet and Expert in the same round on warlord quite by accident. I was on my own in the palace with a supply crate and zip line. Just kept going between the spawns on the zip and on foot. I already had the required total kills and by claymore-ing the **** out the attackers I killed enough in one round.

In fact one of the guys, said can you "clay-less" it was a fantastic round. Got 2 ribbons and a gold Star as well.
