change nickname or account name

I tried to post this a reply - but for some reason
that topic got closed?
and after reading so many on the subject - and everyone just saying "you CANNOT change your name"
I though the following info helpful to our newer members

in case you did not know
even though you cannot CHANGE your existing 'nick'
you can make a NEW nickname
but its score and stats will start at zero
and , in case you did now know
you keep your old name as well
that is, you can have as many accounts as you want

The only "change" that you can make to it is capitolization.

When I originally created my account - for some reason I could not create BeerStein like I normally do - it was created as beerstein.

Since then I have found through these forums (I believe the sticky above covers it) - there is a config file on your machine that allows you to do this. You cannot change the name, you can only make letters capital or not...that is it. You cannot add charachters or delete them.

Also - when you look at any of the stat sites - they will still show in the case they were registered with, not how you change them.

The only time you see this change is in game.
